From first sample to a production-ready brief
Make each sample review specific, organized and useful.
In this guide

Review against the brief
Compare the sample with the agreed measurement chart, construction notes and artwork. Separate what is approved from what needs changing.
Consolidate your feedback
Use one numbered list of comments with marked photographs. Include the current measurement, requested change and reason where helpful. Contradictory comments can slow the next revision.
Keep a record of approval
Confirm the final specification in writing. Retain the approved sample and the correct revision of the tech pack, artwork and labels.
Confirm the order details
Before production begins, agree the quantity by size and color, quotation, payment terms, quality checkpoints, packing and delivery arrangement. Timing is confirmed for the individual order.
Put the guide into practice.
Send your reference, target quantities and questions. Your brief does not need to have every answer on day one.
